Minutes, 1904-1933.

The minutes cover the meetings of the roster commission which were held at irregular intervals. Also included with these minutes are various other records of the commission including 1) requisitions for staff salaries, office supplies and equipment; 2) invoices for office supplies and equipment; 3) reports to the commission by the superintendent ; 4) correspondence received by the commission; and 5) copies of letters sent by the commission or the superintendent. Most of this material has been pasted into the ledgers.

The Georgia Soldier Roster Commission was created in 1903 to compile rosters of Confederate units from Georgia. The rosters helped to determine an applicant's qualifications for a Confederate pension from the state of Georgia. The commission was abolished in 1961.
